Inanimate Object

I have a couple plants sitting on my desk. The one I choose for this assignment is the Venus Fly Trap. We will call her Venus, and her story is as follows.
Venus was just a baby; a sprouting bud, when she found herself living in a small and confined plastic pot on a store shelf. When she looked around she could see that she shared the shelf with other plants. Some looked just like her while others were much taller, and had brightly colored tops. One day she was picked up and turned in circles a few times, placed on a moving table, put into a white space that made a crinkly noise, and stayed there for awhile. Venus was removed from the space, and placed on a table next to a window. She had a new neighbor too, her neighbor was in a much bigger pot, taller and had lots of green on top just like her. It was different from her though. It's green tops had thin lines of a lighter shade of green. Venus thought the different shades were rather pretty. Her neighbor's tops were thinner than hers too, they didn't open and close like hers did, and she didn't catch her own food like Venus did. This latter difference made Venus feel unique and extra special.
If this object could talk it would tell me to take more time to soak up the sun because it's rejuvenating. It would tell me to be refreshed with water and not take it for granted. It would tell me to appreciate those around me that nurture my growth, and help me to flourish.
